Be Aware ! : Your Dog is Depending On You!

BE AWARE!

Have you ever been in a situation with a person, and the energy between you two changed and became uncomfortable? Maybe it was something said or done....typically it's the last thing before that feeling started that was the cause of the disconnect and Harmony. Once that's fixed, the Harmony returns.

The same is true for dogs.

Dogs don't have emotions however like we humans do, it's either:

1 this feels comfortable or

2 this feels uncomfortable.

Things trigger the uncomfortable in dogs and as they do, depending on the dogs ability to process the level of discomfort, will dictate the behavior changes.

Why you may ask do I write about this?

Because I teach dog owners to be the leader in their relationship with their dog. BUILD TRUST that they don't have to react out of the discomfort of fear , but can rely on their owner for security .

With this being the case, it's VERY important to key in on your dogs comforts as well as discomforts. By doing so, you will become more in tune with their triggers and be able to work with the dog handling those initial triggers that lead to outbursts in barking, lunging on leash........ or even biting!

I love helping dogs learn to process this part of their discomforts, vs simply correcting the mistakes. It can take a little longer in some cases, but once you get to the root of the issue and fix it, usually they are good to go.

A GREAT example of this is my upcoming Before and After Video featuring a Cane Corso named Max. Be sure to FOLLOW , Heart and watch for his video on our YouTube Channel!

The take away from this post....:

Be Aware For your dogs safety. BE THE ADCOCATE FOR THEIR SPACE!

It’s the root to solid training in fixing problems, and teaching new behaviors!
